Liverpool will meet up with Sevilla in the 2016 Europa League Final. Basel is the host city and Liverpool will have the majority of the support inside and outside the ground.  Liverpool got to the final having navigated a pretty easy group with the squad and fringe members of the team. They beat Augsburg, Man Utd, Dortmund and Villarreal in the knockouts and fully deserve the final place. Sevilla dropped down from the UCL after being drawn in a horror group with Man City, Juventus and Moenchengladbach.  They beat Shakhtar Donetsk, Molde, Basel and Bilbao. Liverpool will not have Flanagan, Sakho, and Gomez. They do have extra options here as Emre Can, Jordan Henderson and Divock Origi are all back from injury. Sevilla are without Reyes and Krohn-Delhi.

Something has to give for these two teams in UEFA Cup/Europa League finals. Between them they have won 7 straight finals from 7.  The magnitude of the game is season defining for both sides as not only is it another European trophy it’s a route into UCL which both sides have not been able to secure this season. Liverpool have the majority of the support in the ground but Sevilla will be dangerous for sure. I take the draw here in what will be a nerve biting match.
