MARIBOR V WIGAN : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS 1x2

Maribor despite being bottom of Group D, can qualify if they win here, and Rubin beat Zulte-Waregem. It is the same scenario for Wigan, so both will be cheering on group leaders Rubin as they play out this match. Maribor have just the four points with a win and a draw, although a hard fought point at Rubin was an excellent effort. In the Slovenian league they have gone into the winter break top, with a two point advantage. Wigan have parted company with manager Owen Coyle after a very poor spell. His replacement is Uwe Rosler, and he will relish this European test. Wigan have lost their last two group games, after a good start which included a 3-1 home win over Maribor. In the English second tier, poor results mean they are only fourteenth, ultimately why Coyle lost his job with them. Five defeats in a row is a slump the new manager has to address quickly. Midfielder McClean is suspended for Wigan.
