PORTO V NAPOLI : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP to qualify

Porto and Napoli both arrived in the Europa league after third place finishes in their Champions league groups. Napoli had much the better of the campaigns between the two though winning four of their six games in a tough group, finishing on level points with the group winners and runners up, Dortmund and Arsenal. Porto managed just one win in their six played in Champions league, and they are also nine points off the lead in the Portuguese league occupying third place, which is unusual for them. Winners on away goals in the last round against German strugglers Eintracht Frankfurt, it is fair to say Porto are not as strong as in previous years. Napoli have gone eight games unbeaten, including knocking Swansea City out 3-1 over two legs in the last round. Arriving on the back of a big league win against Roma at the weekend, Benitez has a knack in knockout competition, as being manager of last years winners Chelsea proves, and he will be plotting Portos downfall no doubt.

Napoli to qualify at 1.57(4/7)Bet365 looks massive to me, and is a maximum bet. Over two legs I fully expect the Italians to prevail, and the odds are wrong for me. I would be uncomfortable laying 1.40 about Benitez men, and a look at the two sides Champions league campaigns should explain why. Napoli are easily the better side at present, and over two legs I expect their superiority to show.
