RIJEKA – REAL BETIS: PREDICTIONS     

Rijeka are the only unbeaten side left in a very competitive Croatia HNL league. 6 wins and 5 draws from 11 games leaves Rijeka in 3^rd just 1 point behind leader Dinamo Zagreb. Rijeka have almost played as many games in Europe. Winning 4, drawing 2 and losing 1. Knocking out Zilina and impressively Stuttgart on their way to the group stages. Matchday one though saw Rijeka lose their only match in 18 games when they were hammered in Portugal 4-0 by Guimaraes.

Real Betis are playing well at the moment and finally got their win and clean sheet that their performances deserved. but are losing far too much and are struggling defensively. The side is so much better than their 8 points suggest.. Attack wise they look good just they seem to crumble under pressure; For me they are a top half side for sure. Points tally would argue against this however as they have only 2 win, 2 draws and 3 defeats. Ruben Marten, Vilarchao and Juan Carlos out for Betis, all squad men so no major problems

This game looks very likely to be an away win. Betis are on fire in Europe and seem to really settle away from the top level of La Liga. Two wins against Jablonec and a 0-0 draw with Lyon are good results and Betis should have no problems with Rijeka.
