SEVILLA – SLASK WROCLAW: PREDICTIONS

Sevilla host Slask Wroclaw in what looks like a straightforward tie in Europa League.

Sevilla are experiencing big changes at Sanchez Pijuan as pretty much an entire team has been shipped out and a whole new one arrived! Out has gone the heart of the team, huge players such as Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas, Luis Alberto and Gary Medel have left for England to the tune of £57 million. 12 other players have left the club in an amazing turnover of staff. Incoming to Betis are 13 new players but the standout are winger Marko Marin, defender Nicolas Pareja, strikers Carlos Bacca and Kevin Gameiro (CF’s) and midfielder Sebastian Cristaforo. They opened up with a difficult fixture against Atletico Madrid and although matching them for over an hour they lost 2 late goals to losed 3-1. Key wide man Jose Reyes is injured and right back Cicinho is a doubt.

Slask Wroclaw are a side who has improved over the years and is one of the better and well run sides in Poland. With 2 league championships (including their last in 2012) they are on the up for sure. In European competition they have managed 44 games with 14 wins, 13 draws and 17 defeats. In the 1^st round they defeated Rudar Pvljevlja of Montenegro and last round suprising saw off Club Brugge with a win and a draw to go through 4-3 on aggregate.

This game looks a nailed on home win here in Spain. Slask have done well so far but Brugges is a long way behind even this weakened Sevilla side. I see goals here and plenty for the home side.
