St Johnstone v Rosenborg predictions
St. Johnstone were forutnate in the first leg. They won 1-0 in Trondheim. Rosenborg found it very hard to break down a very defense minded Scottish side. This looks very much like a game that will be played quite similarly to the first one. St. Johnstone can focus on defending their lead and counter with purpose when the very best of opportunities arise. Rosenborg will have to go for it. Advancing from 1-0 down after the home leg is never going to be easy, but this Rosenborg side has climbed a mountain or two before. Also, with all their Europa League experience they can never be ruled out.
David Robertson is out injured still for the home side. Rosenborg has no injury worries to report.
Betting Tips
I think there will be good possibilities for a very Europa Cup experienced Rosenborg to continue dominating play on the pitch. The Scottish Premiership hasn't started yet either while Rosenborg is in-season doing really well domestically. That's enough for me to take 17/20 (1.85) for the Norwegians.
