Stromsgodset is second in the Norwegian top league, two points behind Rosenborg. At home they're 7-1-0 so far this season. They did not participate in the first round of qualification. However, last season they lost 2-1 away to Atletico Madrid before losing 2-0 at home in the second leg. The Norwegian side will go into this tie thinking they can win it, no doubt.

Debrecen is used to being the best Hungarian side, but last season they did not do so well in the League. They ended down in 6th place. However, they did win the Magyar Kupa. In the Super Cup they recently lost 3-0 to last years League winner Gyori.

Betting Tips

Stromsgodset plays pretty football and at home they've won five out of eight with two or more goals.

Debrecen has played the Super Cup recently, but their league doesn't start until the 28th. That is a big minus for them in my eyes.

Finally, the Hungarian top teams are definitely not any better than the Norwegian top sides at the minute overall. At best it is quite even.

Allthough Stromsgodset has been defeated back to back (away from home) as of late in their domestic league I think they're more than capable of taking down a Debrecen side looking to be a bit in decline.
