Udinese v Slovan Liberec predictions and betting tips

Udinese has taken the Europa League fairly serious when they’ve participated. So far I haven’t seen anything that would indicate they won’t again. They haven’t started up domestically yet, but they have already played Siroki Brijeg in the Europa League qualifiers and the Serie A stars this coming weekend. They should be close to full match fitness. They have done a great deal of reshuffling in the transfer window.  This season Vydra is set to get more game time after having a splendid season in Watford. Naldo took part in defense against Brijeg, he can probably get more minutes in the team. New Reqruit Keeper Kelava also played against Brijeg and will probably be starting again. Young defenders Bubnjic and Widmer looks good prospects. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them can be a hit already this season.

Slovan Liberec is five games deep domestically with 4-0-1 and a goal difference of 6-6 constituting the stats so far. They’ve also played Europa League qualifiers against Skonto Riga and Zurich. They haven’t done much business in the transfer market, so I expect them to be around the same strength as last year.

Udinese hammered Brijeg 4-0 at home. Slovan Librec is probably a slightly better side than Bosnian Brijeg. Udinese might also rest a couple big names for the Serie A start. Anyway, for me this Udinese still has enough fire power to bring home the bacon against a side that lost away to a not very impressive Skonto Riga not long ago. Udinese does want the Europa League! With their experience I doubt they’ll pass on the chance.
