While not normally a big fan of England or Roy Hodgson I feel they are worth following at Wembley against Lithuania. The English are game and same to excel in qualifying. They tend to stomp over the lower class opposition, generally failing in the final tournament. They sit atop Group E with 4 wins from 4 – scoring 11 and conceding 1. They have lost a few players to injuries with Fraser Forster, Adam Lallana, Daniel Sturridge and Luke Shaw with Danny Rose a late withdrawel. Oxlade Chamberlain and Wilshire already on the sidelines. England though have ample cover and Walbeck at centre forward is actually the competitions lead scorer. Lithuania have not really done anything since their independence. They find themselves in 4th in the group with 2 wins and 2 losses from 4. San Marino and Estonia were beaten to nil while a heavy loss to the Swiss as well as a home defeat to Slovenia. They cannot seem to threaten the bigger sides. I take the two goal handicap – I cannot see a Lithuania goal at all here –England generally dispatch the lesser sides with ease.
We need a 3 goal victory here for payout – a 2 goal margin gets our stake back.
