Poland host Germany in what should be a cracker in Warsaw. Poland destroyed the minnows Gibralter in the 1^st game. The Poles had been on a downward trend for 2013 and have only pulled it back this year with a few eyecatching results. They have drifted down to 70^th in the world which puts them just above Northern Ireland but I expect them to start moving up after a few wins. In 2014 Poland have won 4 (albeit against poor sides, beaten were Gibralter, Moldova, Lithuania and Norway) drawn with Germany 0-0 (a 2^nd string Germany without Bayern and Dortmund players) and lost to Scots in the only reverse. Germany won the world cup  in Brazil with some scintillating football. Since then they have taken a few backward steps with a few 2^nd rate performances. They lost 4-2 to Argentina in a Di Maria masterclass before the tight 2-1 home win over Scotland.  I expect Germany to start firing up now and stamp themselves back as the best on the planet.

I think Germany with a hop over the border will find the local ‘derby’ element just to their liking. I fancy a strong performance and have no hesitation in pulling out a -1 win.
