Poland host Scotland in what should be a cracker in Warsaw. Poland defied all odds to win 2-0 in the last match against World Champions Germany, this after they destroyed the minnows Gibralter in the 1^st game. They have drifted down to 70^th in the world which puts them just above Northern Ireland but they should surge up the rankings after their recent wins. In 2014 Poland have won 5 (albeit against poor sides, beaten were Gibralter, Moldova, Lithuania and Norway) and also drawn with Germany 0-0 (a 2^nd string Germany without Bayern and Dortmund players) and lost to Scots in the only reverse. Scotland themselves are in great form of their own and they won 1-0 at home to Georgia last match. With the opening game loss to Germany 2-1 they have the hardest game out the way.

I don’t think Scotland will be trying to win here and containment will be the key.  Last 10 games for both sides have seen 23 goals for a game average of 2.30 goals per match. When you consider Poland won 7-0 in one game v Gibralter you can see the chance of low goals here. Take the 1 game out and the average drops to 1.77 goals per game. These two played out a narrow 1-0 at the same stadium only as far back as Marcha and I see a repeat here.
