AUSTRALIA U20 – TURKEY U20: PREDICTIONS

The Fifa U20 World Cup continues with the 3^rd round of games in Group C . This group is really tight with just three points separating the four sides. All to play for in both matches as all four positions will chop and change over the 90 minutes.

Australia u20 played a strong opening game were they draw 1-1 with a strongly fancied Colombia side. The Australians were actually the better of the two sides and looked more the side more likely to grab the win. Second game they took on  a perceived weak side in El Salvador. The Central Americans were trounced by Turkey in their opener and were predicted to get another pasting. Things never went to plan and despite dominating possession Australia were beaten 2-1 as El Salvador took their chances.

Turkey u20 have played two decent games but have only three points to show for it. On the opening day they deservedly hammered a weak El Salvador, The Turks were all over their Central American opposition and did not let them rest at all. Second match saw a Colombia side and although the prices originally favoured Turkey it was Colombia who went off favourites. The money was right too as Colombia grabbed a 1-0 win. Turkey had the better possession but struggled to get any meaningful shots or clear cut chances. Colombia had many chances and managed to hold on to a 1-0 win.

AUSTRALIA U20 – TURKEY U20: BETTING TIPS

Turkey have the home advantage but there has been little support in truth as crowds have been sparse in all games so the full extent of home advantage is lessened. Both sides are decent all round and this group is ever so tight. A draw is useless to Australia and will eliminate them. I think Turkey would like to avoid France in the 1^st knockout stage so will be going for the win and the chance to top the group and play a best 3^rd place side. The prices for me are very short on Turkey so with goals in mind here I take Over 2.5 at .1.70
