TURKEY U20 - COLOMBIA U20: BETTING TIPS

The Fifa U20 World Cup continues with the 2^nd round of games in Group C. Hosts Turkey u20 opened up with a great performance to batter El Salvador 3-0 in a one sided game. While one of the tournament favourites struggled, fancied Colombia could only manage a 1-1 draw with Australia.

Turkey u20 dominated an inferior El Salvador side for the entire match and ran out easy 3-0 winners. In front of a surprisingly sparse crowd the hosts picked apart a second rate El Salvador side with ease. Key to the win was attacking midfielder Cenk Sahin who was central to all the good Turkish play, scoring twice and assisting the other goal. Turkey looked good all round here but its hard to judge them as El Salavador did look all at sea at times.

Colombia u20 were very much below par in their opening fixture against Australia. After winning the South American championships earlier this year Colombia were fancied to come out strong in this competition and go all the way. However they were evenly matched against an Australia side that nobody fancied at all. The game was very tight and neither seemed willing to commit to attacking football. Colombia were strong defensively in their continental qualifiers and showed it here to with a commited display. In midfield as expected Quintero was the main man and passed and probed for most of the game but without creating any real clear cut chances. It was a case of both teams setting out not to lose and in that case a draw was a fair result.

Really difficult game to call this one as both sides look very evenly matched, this is a tough group indeed and with El Salvador likely to lose all three games points will be at a premium. I take a draw here (3.40 bet365) as it looks a very big price in such a tight game.  Money has came for Turkey early here and they have gone favourites but I think this is a very, very close game. Colombia will be hard to breach for sure and although Turkey did look lively they will find this defence a lot tougher than El Salvador.
