Belgium has a wonderful generation of players with the best seasons still ahead of them. France also boasts a lot of top drawer talent, but usually internal conflicts and drama come in the way for this side. Pretty much as expected this! Belgium has proven a handful for many sides as of late. 8-1-1 and a goal difference of 20-8 shows this side can play ball.

Some might miss Remy (QPR) (injured), Menez (PSG), Gameiro or Gomis and Gourcuff (Lyon) but this side looks very solid going forward indeed, and the depth offensively in French football is great at the moment. France has three losses in a row now, but experimental squads have been used. What they show up with here is a much stronger side than what took on Uruguay and Brazil in recent friendlies. However, with only 4 wins and 1 draw in the last ten matches surely the fans will want to see the players put in a good shift at least.

Belgium v France betting tips for 1x2

Belgium hasn’t lost a friendly at home since 2010. Pretty much exactly one year ago they beat the Netherlands 4-2 in a friendly as well, so it does look like they take their friendlies rather serious; at least much more serious than their competition here.

Belgium has so much to offer all across the pitch that even if France is sending a very good side I really fancy the 2.40 (7/5) on offer from BET365. Their stats are great, the squad is fantastic! They’ll take the game to France, and look destined to score at least once or twice. France has the quality to respond, but until they fix their team morale they are no go for me.

The Over 2.5 goals market is priced at a very generous 2.25 (5/4). That price is pretty massive given our analysis. I doubt it will stand long.
