CZECH REPUBLIC v CANADA: BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Czech Republic were amongst the favourites to qualify behind Italy in a fairly tight group but finished a point off in 3^rd. The new temporary coach Josef Pesice has discarded a few old names and although sticking with a few veterans has named a fresh new squad. Czechs have had a mixed year with 5 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. Canada were eliminated in their continental qualifiers in October 2012 such is the convoluted nature of CONCACAF. Going into a final day eliminator with Honduras hopes were high as the winner would take the spot, a draw would be good enough for the Canadians. No-one outside of Honduras would have guessed what was to happen. A ridiculous 8-1 win for the Hondurans as Canada seemingly fell apart under the pressure. That result sparked a huge turnaround in fortunes for the Canadians who amazingly have not won a single game since. In a run of 11 games against pretty low ranked sides (including Mauritania  twice, Martinique and Belarus) Canada have lost 8 and drawn 3. In a run that has seen them score just 1 goal and concede 16. Indeed Canada have not scored in 8 games in a run that goes back to March!

Canada really are an awful outfit and a huge chunk of cash has piled in on the home side. The Czechs should have few problems here with this team and a high margin win is an easy play. Canada couldn’t score if the game went on all night as shut outs by the mighty Martinique, with Mauritania managing it twice!
