England playoff against Portugal in one of both teams last warm up games before Euro 2016. Both sides go into the competition with strong claims for a decent finish.  Wembley Stadium is the venue and then England will head direct to France while Portugal have one more warm up with Estonia to come. England will rest a few players with slight niggles, they are Bertrand, Henderson and Wilshire. Portugal arrive in London looking to give the fringe members of the team a run out. Champions League winners Pepe and Ronaldo will not feature here while Coentrao and Bernard are injured.  Portugal’s form over the last year shows 8 wins and 3 losses.

Always tight matches between these two sides. No Ronaldo for Portugal is a major problem for the visitors who do not tend to score many anyway. England will try out a few players here and maybe a different formation or two and the result will not really matter for either side.  Of the last 7 matches between the two sides there have been 5 draws.
