PORTUGAL V GREECE: PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP goals
Two sides continue their preparations for the World Cup finals in this friendly fixture that saw the Euro 2004 final. Greece caused a shock by winning that one, and with no Cristiano Ronaldo here for Portugal they might fancy a repeat. Portugal have won their last four fixtures, including a play-off win in both legs over Sweden, which secured their place in Brazil. Ronaldo though is the heartbeat of this team, and it will be very interesting to see how they perform without him here. Greece also had to use the play-offs to get to the finals, beating Romania, after they had racked up the best second place points total in the Euro section during the group stages. The Greeks had been unbeaten in eight prior to a 2-0 loss to South Korea in their last fixture, and will want some positive results from their Friendly games ahead of kick off in Brazil.
Under 2.5 goals at 1.60(3/5)Unibet is the best bet of the game for me, and is very attractively priced. Portugal rely heavily on Ronaldo for their offensive threat, and with him out for this it will be interesting to see how they fare offensively. Defensively they are sound as are the Greeks, and it is hard to see many goals coming from this game. An interesting test for both sides, but don’t expect a thriller, and under 2.5 goals looks something of a nap selection.
