Yet another International Friendly predictiction this! Romania is still a contender for Brazil 2014, but has shaken up their squad dramatically before this game. They lost 4-0 away to the Netherlands in March and now it's time to let some new talent get to show coach Piturca what they can do. Actually this squad contains lots of new faces, and absolutely none from Steaua Bucuresti (surprisingly). The domestic league players are complimented by Fullback Razvan Rat (New Signing of West Ham), Midfielder Alexandru Maxim of VFB Stuttgart, West Bromwich Albion defender Gabriel Tamas (Squad player), AS Roma goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont (Reserve Keeper), midfielder Adrian Stoian of Italian Serie A club Chievo, the talented right winger Gabriel Andrei Torje, on loan at Granada and FC Schalke striker Andrei Marica. That's a pretty decent squad, by all means!

Romania usually does well at home in friendlies, so they seem to put some pride in it! Recently Australia was sent back home 3-2, and in November they got a solid 2-1 win against the up and coming Belgium.

Trinidad Tobago are not going to Brazil, so this can only be viewed as a warm up to the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The visitors have trained in London before flying out to Romania, so they shouldn't suffer any jet lag or other travel related issues!

The side will miss powerful striker Jones of Stoke and the 34 year old Dedender Edwards of Ipswich. On a bright note, the talented Justin Hoyte of M'Boro who has youth games for England has opted in for Senior football for the Soca Warriors. His talent will be needed as this side is 0-1-2 in their three last friendlies away from home. To make matters worse; that wasn't against very good oppostion overall.

Even if Romania  has announced a relatively experimental squad, and possibly field an experimental eleven here they should be head and shoulder above the visitors whose players come from a poor domestic league, coupled with the Kazak league, the Thai league and other lower quality leagues. Hoyte is a nice addition, but that advantage is overturned by Jones and Edwards missing out. The home side will have to take the game to Trinidad and Tobago, I think they have enough in this squad to do so, and I think Romania has enough in them to win this game with two goals or more.
