SWITZERLAND v PERU TOTAL GOALS  BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Switzerland made the finals with ease, topping a pretty straightforward group. Norway, Slovenia and Iceland were brushed aside. The Swiss side is actually rather un-Swiss, with a lot of 2^nd generation immigrants making the side. Coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has been around the block and his team is packed with young, talented players. They were unbeaten in 10 qualifiers and managed 7 wins and 3 draws. In recent friendly matches they beat Jamaica, drew with Croatia but lost to South Korea. Peru never made the qualifiers and are in a bit of a turnaround period. They finished 7^th of 9 teams in South America, with terrible away from the main problem. Just one point from 8 games is never going to be good enough. Recent friendly results for Peru include a 3-0 loss to England and a 0-0 with South Korea.

I prefer the under goals here as I just don’t think Peru will threaten. They were abject going forward v England and Swiss are probably around their level for me. Swiss will be looking to work on defence here and they are capable of a clean sheet here. Last 12 games have seen 31 goals for an average of 2.67 goals with 5 of the 10 games finishing under 2.5 goals.
