Turkey v Denmark predictions
Turkey is number 38 on the FIFA rankings, Denmark is number 22. Both teams dropped points and were moved down the rankings last time the rankings were updated. Turkey has lost their last two recent competitive games. 0-1 at home against Romania and 3-1 away to Hungary do not bode well for a team one expect more of. Before those two games, Estonia was defeated 3-0 at home soil. Denmark hasn’t shone either with 0-0 away to the Czech Republic and 1-1 away to Bulgaria. It got worse with a 3-1 loss away to Italy. Overall I do think Denmark has had tougher fixtures, so I will factor that into the preview going forward. The teams haven’t met the last five years, so I will not add any weight to historic meetings.
Turkey v Denmark predictions: 1x2 preview
Having lost only once in their last 10 home friendlies it’s obvious the Turks aren’t going to roll over and give Denmark an easy game. Their squad is 2/3 home league players versus 1/3 of players playing abroad. Their brightest light Adan Turan of Atletico Madrid is expected to play.
Denmark is 3-3-4 away in friendlies. Denmark is for me the better of the two sides with a rock solid defense as their best feature. For the Danes Lars Jacobsen, Andreas Cornelius and his replacement Lars Jacobsen, Daniel Agger and Jores Okore are sitting out. Out of these only Jacobsen and Agger would be likely starters though. Their absence will affect the defensive qualities for Denmark for sure.
I want to take advantage of the massive Danish customer base of Unibet. The Swedish Giant Bookmaker is offering 2.50 for the home win. Even if there would be a couple of absences in the Turkish squad come kick off, this looks too high for a side taking friendlies so serious.

Turkey v Denmark predictions: Asian Handicap preview
The draw is the most dangerous outcome looking at our 1X2 bet. The Turkey, draw no bet of 1.69 with ComeOn gives us sufficient cushioning against this outcome. I think the price looks OK as well, and it’s worth a punt.

Turkey v Denmark predictions: Total Goals preview
I can understand why the market is calling this an under 2.5 game. 4 out of Turkey’s last 6 friendlies at home have gone under. Turkey has however not been as solid defensively as of late. Denmark on the other hand has played 4 out of 6 over. Also, Denmark is weakened in defense. Agger is a world class defender and is not easily replaced. I think this is pretty much a 50-50 game. When the Over 2.5 then yields 2.14 at Betfair I am keen to get a bet on.
