Turkey v Latvia is an international friendly. Turkish superstars Yilmaz and Bulut has poured in goals in club football for Galatasaray, but at the international level it just hasn't clicked. Turkey is struggling in their Qualification Group, and they'll need to convert more chances if they'll have any chance to go to Brazil. Latvia hasn't impressed anyone in quite some time. Recently they lost 3-1 in Qatar, and they have only won once in the last eight matches. That was a game against Lichtenstein. In four of their last six away games Latvia has lost by two goals or more. Obviously; they struggle defensively.

Turkey v Latvia betting tips

Turkey has failed to win in their two last home friendlies (Denmark and Czech republic), but they've made a wise choice inviting Latvia. The home side should be capable to stress t the Latvian defense consisting mainly of Latvian League or similar league strength players. Gorkss has had some time in Reading, but he only got one start for the club. It must be said though that going forward Latvia has some decent options in players that plays for pretty solid clubs such as CSKA Moscow and HSV. I wouldn't be surprised if the Latvians got a goal themselves.

It's a great opportunity for players such as Bulut, Yilmaz, Turan and perhaps Rennes star Erding to shine. They couldn't really ask for a weaker defense, so all eyes are on them to go for the juggular and send the Latvians home crying.
