Diego Costa, like the rest of the Spanish outfit did not have a good game against Holland in their 2014 World Cup opener. He only recorded twenty nine touches in the game, and only got two shots fired. I must admit I thought he be much more involved in the game than that.
Against a Chilean side that stand high on the pitch I suspect there will be much better terms for the brutal attacking force that is Diego Costa. If Spain try to be as direct as they were when things went their way in the first half against the Dutch he should find himself in favorable one on ones here and there. This is what the big man thrives on.
Diego Costa is the man leading the line for a Spanish side in need of a win. Preferably a win to cancel out their lousy goal difference. Spain has extreme qualities in their squad. They have talent in every position, and they should be able to give Costa the service he needs to get shots fired. If he is anywhere near his best he will get himself a good few chances in this game. As we all know, he has more than enough quality to convert.
2.28 for him to score any time against Chile is for me a gift! Take it while it is still available.
