Nigel de Jong is likely to play as a defensive midfielder in this game as Strootman is out (He'd probably play alongside him anyway). To say the least; heis not afraid to tackle. Looking at the last season for Milan he got 9 yellow in 33 apperances. This obviously is no where near good enough stats for this bet to be a winner. However the plot thickens. He got 2 yellow cards in 3 apperances for Holland in the World Cup qualification. Hmm!
The main argument for me: He participated in both the 2010 world cup and the 2012 euros racking up 9 matches. He got 4 yellow cards in the process (indicating odds of 2.25). I then reason: He isn't getting quicker with age, and here he will be up against a super dynamic midfield setup. A setup likely to keep hold of the ball for about 67-70% of the time. It is extremely likely he will lose his cool or mistime a tackle as so many times before.
2.45 is available from Unibet and I think this is great value. Personally I think the odds are under 2.00 for this bet. These odds are just screaming out to be taken!
