Argentina has secured qualification. Peru will not be heading for Brazil next summer. Obviously the home side are big favorites here. They will however be without Mascherano (Defensive Midfielder), Gago (Midfielder), Higuain (Striker) and Messi (simply the best footballer on the planet). Peru travel to Argentina with a depleted squad. Fernandez (Keeper), Rodriguez (Central Defender) and Herrera (Right back) started last game, but are out here. Farfan (Forward), Ramos (Centre Back), Alvarez (Centre Back), Guerrero and Rudiaz (Forwards) would all be possible starters, but are all sitting out.

Obviously Peru will go back to the drawing board and Argentina even without a handful of world stars are massive favorites. Argentina has a great home record, and quite a few players on the fringes of the starting eleven could be given a chance to shine. These players are all top drawer! Peru has only won three out of their twenty last games away, and not much indicate that stat will improve here!

My betting tip is Argentina to win to nil priced at 2.15 (23/20). Peru simply has too many players out, especially at the back. They will need to focus more on defensive duties, and not make fools of themselves. Argentina has a solid defense, and has picked clean sheets regulary at home. These odds represent value in my opinion and must be tested.
