ARGENTINA V VENEZUELA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Argentina are looking like definite qualifiers to the World Cup in 2014 as they top the South American qualifying group.  They have 20 points from 9 matches which gives them a 3 point lead over 2^nd place Ecuador and importantly, with 4 automatic qualifying spots, an 8 point lead over 5^th place Uruguay.  They are unbeaten at home in the qualifiers, winning 4 out of 5 matches and scoring 15 goals in the 5 games.

Venezuela are currently in 4^th place in the group in the last automatic qualification spot but they are even on points with 5^th placed Uruguay and 6^th placed Chile so it is a very tight race.  A loss here could take them out of the qualification places altogether so they will be working very hard to get any type of result from this game.

Argentinian star Lionel Messi is in scintillating club form again this year for Barcelona with 42 league goals in 28 matches and has scored in a stunning 18 straight matches and he is desperate for his domestic form to transfer to the internationals and for Argentina to win a big tournament.  With Messi in this type of form who can stop him?
