BELARUS - FRANCE: PREDICTIONS

Belarus are on a mixed run of results. Looking into their run they have 5 wins, 5 draws and 6 defeats. However the quality of opposition faced here is very low. Excluding Spain and France who beat them easily) Belarus have played a lot of poor sides, Georgia, Moldova, Canada and Estonia among others.  The Belarus team does have a lot of quality though and all the players play at home or in Russia so they know each other very well. The side is another very young team with only Alexander Hleb and Timofei Kalachev over 30. The core of the side comes from the very successful BATE Borisov team and some of the other players have played there also so the playing style and systems are fresh in the heads of most of the side.  Key man for Belarus is striker Vitali Rodionov, a very adept player with a fantastic strike rate who many sides from Western Europe are scouting. Belarus are bottom of the group with 1 win, 1 draw and 4 defeats.

France slipped up badly against Georgia with a 0-0 draw. It almost confirms France will have to go through the playoffs. Worryingly for France this is the fifth consecutive match without scoring. The French have a very strong and settled squad at the moment and with the French league really improving its looking good for Les Blues. In recent friendlies however it has not been good at all. Losses to Uruguay, Brazil and Germany plus a draw with Belgium. Only 1 goal scored and 6 conceded, is a sign of a few problems within the camp. Its strange though as France have world class players in all departments, a top class keeper in Lloris. Defence is solid with good attacking skills too. Midfield has a wide variety of players all at the top of their game. Franck Ribery is in the form of his life while a few youngsters such as Pogba and Kongdobia will compliment Nasri, Capoue and Valbuena. Strikers are quality with Benzema one of the best in the world at the moment while Giroud seems to have stepped up his game.

BELARUS - FRANCE: BETTING TIPS       

A must win game for France, with Spain highly unlikely to drop points it may seem a fruitless task. France were not very good at all in Belarus neighbours Goergia, they could have lost that game as the hosts had the better chances.
