Belgium v Macedonia predictions and tips
Belgium is top of World Cup Qualifier Group A after five played matches with 13 points (same as Croatia). Macedonia is trailing nine points behind already. They can't seriously have any hopes of qualifying at this point.
The sides met in the reverse fixture on the 22.03. Belgium won 2-0 after scoring a goal in both halves. Macedonia looked a threat early on, but Belgium got better and better as time passed. The win was fully deserved, and it could have been bigger.
This Belgium side looks extremely impressive. A young side filled with exceptional talent that move the ball around with ease and play moutwatering football at their best. Players such as Kompany, Mirallas, Lukaku, Defour, Mignolet, Gillet, Mertens and Chadli were on the bench on the 22nd. That is not a bad bench is it? It says it all about this team!
Macedonia isn't a bad team either, but they rely heavily on their Captain (Pandev) to deliver the goods. The Napoli attacker is good, but he can't do it all on his own.
Belgium - Macedonia Betting Tips
Belgium will most likely be their own biggest enemy in this game. Macedonia is good enough to hurt them if they aren't tuned in to the task at hand, but other than that I can't see this ending well for a Macedonia side already out of qualification hope.
Belgium has plenty of options in attack should their starting eleven not produce the goods. I really see them scoring plenty here if they are up for it.
I go with Betfair's 1.76 (19/25) for Belgium -1.5 on the Asian Handicap list. This means Belgium will need to win by two goals for me to win my bet. I am very comfortable with that though given the circumstances.
