Denmark can still qualify for the World cup, but they will need to get a result here. Denmark is changing the squad quite a bit before this one compared to the last few games they’ve played. Several of the fringe players who were in the squad against Armenia are left out. Denmark is without Okore (Defender), Schoene (Midfielder) and Cornelius (Striker).

Italy has already won World Cup Qualifier Group B. I expect Prandelli to experiment a bit in this one. Italy is without: Maggio (Defender), Ogbonna (Defender), Antonelli (Defender), De Sciglio (Defender), De Rossi (Midfielder) and ElShaarawy (Attacker). Obviously the squad depth of Italy is so good, that even if these first eleven contenders are out, the players coming in are very capable.

Denmark v Italy betting tips

As the Italians are through, one would suspect them to take this very relaxed. However, keep in mind there are a lot of fringe players desperate to get into the first eleven. Many of whom are world class. I think the odds for Denmark are too low to justify a bet on them, even if motivation is stronger in camp DK.
