GEORGIA - FRANCE: PREDICTIONS

Georgia are in terrible form, a run of 8 games without a win has undone all the good early groundwork from legendary coach Temuri Ketsbaia. The side is a pretty round side with not much experience at all. Georgia seemed to have really turned a corner around 2011 and went on a great run of 4 wins from 5 but since then they have struggled badly even against weak opposition. They were not helped by an awful group and in truth they are probably the worst side in it which shows how strong the section is.

France have battled well so far and are only a point behind Spain showing how well they have done. The French have a very strong and settled squad at the moment and with the French league really improving its looking good for Les Blues. In recent friendlies however it has not been good at all. Losses to Uruguay, Brazil and Germany plus a draw with Belgium. Only 1 goal scored and 6 conceded, to be fair to France the opposition are all in the top 10 of World football so its not as bad as the bare statistics show. France have world class players in all departments, a top class keeper in Lloris. Defence is solid with good attacking skills too. Midfield has a wide variety of players all at the top of their game. Franck Ribery is in the form of his life while a few youngsters such as Pogba and Kongdobia will compliment Nasri, Capoue and Valbuena. Strikers are quality with Benzema one of the best in the world at the moment while Giroud seems to have stepped up his game.

GEORGIA - FRANCE: BETTING TIPS      

France should have little problems in Georgia. The home side have no chance here against a top level French side. Although in poor form France have been playing the worlds best teams, a drop down in class will see France step up and I see a win with goals too. I take France -1.5 at 2.10 with bet365.
