Germany can’t get worse than 2^nd in World Cup qualification group C. Germany is without: Reus (Attacking midfielder), L. Bender (midfielder), S. Bender (midfielder), Gundogan (midfielder), Klose (Striker), Gomez (Striker), Podolski (Striker). Obviously that is a lot of quality missing, but the squad looks strong, and they got in-form players like Muller, Kruse, Ozil, Sam and Draxler. Goetze is also included.

Ireland has nothing but a theoretical chance to qualify for the World Cup. Ireland: Has sacked Trappatoni. New coach is Noel King. Goalkeepers Westwood and Randoplh are injured. Defender O'Shea is suspended. Brady (midfielder) is out. Attacking player Walters will sit out too.
