GREECE V ROMANIA: 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS
Greece had a great qualifying and were unlucky to come up against a Bosnian side in such great form. Although finishing with an identical record of 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat they were placed 2nd in the group on goal difference. Yearly form is unbelievable with 7 wins (all without conceding) plus a 0-0 draw against Switzerland. The only blip was a 3-1 loss to Bosnia. Romania were always chasing Holland in their group and finished runners up with 6 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. They have mixed recent form of 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. Veteran striker Theofanis Gekas has been drafted into the Greece squad while two big names have been axed from Romania with Adrian Mutu and Costel Pantilimon missing out.
A very close game for sure and one made worse by the importance of the game. I do believe the 2nd legs in all these playoffs will be the pressure games and the openers will be simply avoiding a hiding. Greece will set themselves up as usual and a low scoring home win is very likely.
