HONDURAS V MEXICO PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

The 4^th round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualification sees a 6 man group where the top 3 get automatic entry into the World Cup and the 4^th place team gets a playoff spot.  There has just been one game played so far so we can’t read much into league positions but with all 6 teams strong enough to get through every match is important and one slip up can cost a team their place.

Honduras made a great start to their campaign with a 2-1 win over the United States, coming from a goal behind to pick up the win with just 10 minutes left.  If they can win tonight it’d be wins against two of the biggest favourites from the group and leave Honduras in pole position to qualify but a very tough Mexican team stands in their way.

Mexico could only manage a 0-0 draw at home with Jamaica which will disappoint them.  They will feel they are one of the favourites in the group and should be winning all their home matches at least.  They can fight back with a win in this match which will have them right back in the hunt.
