Italy are already qualified to the World Cup and as such have little to play for. But behind Italy there are four teams fighting for the second place, Armenia are in 5th place and have the most difficult task, but they have 12 points and are just one point behind Bulgaria currently in second place, so they have a theoretical chance to go to playoff. Armenia won the last match 2-1 at home against Bulgaria, last four matches they have three wins and one loss, so confidence should be high. On away pitch they have done well by beating Czech Republic 2-1 and Denmark 4-0.

Mario Balotelli has struggled with illness and is recovering so could perhaps play. Other players injured are De Rossi, Barzagli and Verratti.
