MEXICO V UNITED STATES PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS
The big North American derby sees old rivals Mexico and the United States take the field in the 3rd match of CONCACAF qualification for the World Cup.
Mexico have had a tough start to this qualifying group with two straight draws, first 0-0 at home to Jamaica then 2-2 away at Honduras. They are in 4th spot currently but a win here could move them up into one of the 3 automatic qualification places.
The United States suffered a shock loss in their first match 2-1 away at Honduras but they came back with a controversial 1-0 win over Costa Rica on Saturday. The match was played in heavy snow and the Costa Ricans are contemplating putting a complaint in to get the match replayed.
Both teams will expect to finish in the top 3 and automatically qualify for the World Cup but with Honduras already picking up points against both sides it could be a tight finish to the group and both will be hopeful to avoid defeat here.
MEXICO V UNITED STATES PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW
Mexico at home are always going to be favourites over the USA, their fans seem to bring out another level in the players. With two draws they also don’t want to fall behind in the group and a win would keep them in the running at the top.
