Switzerland v Slovenia predictions & betting tips
Switzerland has won European World Cup Qualification group E already. I suspect they’ll want to win the group on a high note at home though. Slovenia won’t get the points for free. Switzerland will be without Lichtsteiner (Full back), Shaqiri and Schwegler (Midfielders)
Slovenia is fighting for 2nd with Iceland. Slovenia has to win here, and Iceland has to drop points against Norway. Against Norway they looked very good at times, and I have no doubt they’ll be able to give a slightly reduced Switzerland a tough game. Slovenia has no injury worries worth mentioning.
My betting tip here is based on motivation and the fact that the home side miss two of their most important players in Lichtsteiner and Shaqiri. Slovenia, draw no bet priced at 2.35 (27/20) with Bet365 looks ripe. They need the points, and the cushion of a draw (Switzerland anno 2013 is a very good side) makes this a very good bet in my opinion.
