Tim Cahill is the current top scorer of Australia with a fantastic 31 in 67 internationals. A strike rate that any top scorer would be proud of. He goes into the finals as the spearhead of either a 4-3-3 or a 4-5-1 formation. A major problem for the Aussies is they are in a terrible group. Netherlands, Spain and Chile will all take some stopping but for us it’s a good chance of a return as they are likely to score 1 or 2 goals tops. Cahill is superb in the air for a small striker and with Chile, Netherlands and Spain all susceptible from set pieces the Samoan is the main dangerman for me. With three goals in his last three games he is in form too.
