URUGUAY V PARAGUAY PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Uruguay are in tough fight for a direct entry in the World Cup 2014.  They are currently 5^th of 9 teams in the South American qualifying group, with just 4 automatic spots.  Venezuela in 4^th and Chile in 6^th have the same number of points as Uruguay so any of those sides could qualify or miss out completely so every match is hugely important going forward.

Paraguay have had a terrible qualifying campaign and are bottom of the group with just 7 points from 9 matches.  They are just 5 points behind the Uruguay group of teams on 12 points so a run of wins could see them join the fight but with 4 losses in their last 5 games it doesn’t look likely.  Although a 1-0 win over Peru last time out will give them some confidence.

Luis Suarez is one of the main men for Uruguay and any British football fan has seen plenty of him over the past few seasons.  With 22 league goals he is the top scorer in the Premiership and is having his best season yet in England.
