Bosnia and Herzegovina are fresh from their biggest every victory on the world stage. After thrashing Leichtenstein 8-1 away from home they will be full of confidence. Latvia struggled against a tough Greece side and may have a huge problem in Zenica.

Bosnia and Herzegovina hammered a hapless Liechtenstien 8-1 away from home in a game that showcased their attacking qualities. The Bosnian squad has real quality in all areas. Upfront they excel with two world class forwards in Dzeko and Ibisevic. Behind them will sit Zvjezdan Misimovic, a real creator with a deadly freekick.  All three players shared out the 8 goals in the last game. Lining up with a 4-4-2 initially but had Misimovic in a free role playing almost behind the front two. Latvia have struggled over the last few years not hitting the highs of earlier qualifying tournaments.  The Latvians are trying to bed in an almost midfield and attack. The defence remains the same from years gone by but only star striker Maris Verpakovkis and midfielder Alek Visnakovs remain.The younger generation are led by exciting prospects such as striker Edgars Guaracs and midfielder Aleksander Caunas. The latter player particularly looks a real player. Latvia tend to alternate between 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1. Against Greece they tried a 4-4-2 , it was a game they could not make any impact on and they did struggle for 90 minutes.
