Sweden have a seemingly easy task against a deflated Kazakhstan at the Swedbank Stadium in Malmo. The former Soviet state were in control of the three points against Republic of Ireland until the 89th minute before conceding twice. Sweden will be expected to take the three points themselves in this one sided match up.

Sweden open up their World Cup campaign with a straightforward task against one of the lesser lights of UEFA qualifying. Sweden had a mixed 2012 with some decent wins and a notable victory over France in Euro 2012 final that ultimately counted for nothing as they bowed out in the group stages. Sweden go mainly with a 4-4-1-1 with Ibrahimovic behind the front man but seem much more balanced and dangerous with Zlatan alongside another forward and recieving the ball higher up the pitch. Kazakhstan are on an awful run and are seemingly on the downward spiral. They played a spirited match on Friday and more than matched a very experienced Irish side, they conceded on the 89th minute and then just fell apart. Heads dropped and they let in again to throw the three points away. Playing a 4-2-3-1 formation  their standout performers are defensive midfielder Kairat Nurdauletov and forwards Sergei Ostapenko and Sergei Khiznichenko. Since they entered the European qualifying zone the former Soviet state have been poor generally but they are considerably worse away from home and should cause Sweden no trouble at all.
