Cyprus is yet to win this year over 3 games.  They managed a 0-0 draw with Serbia in their first friendly in February but since then have suffered two loses.  First away to Bulgaria and then in their first World Cup Qualifier a 3-1 defeat at Albania.

Iceland had a poor start to the year losing 3 friendlies back to back but they have come to life since winning their last two games.  Their final friendly gave them a 2-0 win over Faroe Islands and then an excellent 2-0 win at home to Norway in the first World Cup Qualifier.

1x2 Bets

This is seen as one of the tightest games of the round with Cyprus just marginally favourites at 2.74 with Pinnacle.  An Iceland win is 2.9 with Coral which is a generous price and if you can’t pick between the teams a draw is 3.32.

Iceland’s excellent win at the weekend will give them confidence they can push on for a win tonight.  Playing away from home in Cyprus is a much more difficult prospect to a home game though and the occasion could get the best of them.
