FIORENTINA V SIENA : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS qualify

Fiorentina continued their good form with a 3-0 away win at Catania in the league, taking their unbeaten run to seven. Currently fourth in Serie A, going all out for Champions league qualification, as well as still being in the Europa league, the cup could be seen as very much third priority, and the team selected for this is likely to reflect that. Siena, only fourteenth in Serie B, took their third Serie A scalp of the cup campaign with an impressive 4-1 win in Catania. That followed wins at Livorno, and Bologna, meaning they have done it the hard way, all away from home. A win here would top all of the others, with it being a derby match, though it is certainly not impossible. Ambrossini(mid) is suspended for Fiorentina after a sending off in the last round, and Rossi and Gomez(str) are out injured.

Siena at 8.50(15/2)(PaddyPower) to qualify is too big a price and warrants a bet. Although in Serie B following relegation last season, Siena were previously in the top league for some seasons. Their cup exploits have shown they are more than capable of beating sides from the top league, and this match has the added edge of being a derby fixture. As the odds would suggest Fiorentina are rightly heavy favourites, but they will definitely play an under strength side, as in previous rounds.
