ATALANTA V FIORENTINA : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Three games in Atalanta have a home win and two away losses. Last week they went down 2-0 in Napoli, and were never in the game though many teams will no doubt suffer the same feat in Naples this season. Midfielder Cigarini was sent off and misses this due to suspension. All three goals scored have come from defenders, and the strikers will need to step up if results are to improve. Argentine Denis has scored plenty in the previous two seasons though and will be confident of getting on the scoresheet soon. Meetings of the sides here slightly favour the home side, though Fiorentina won home and away in this fixture last season.

Fiorentina have began brightly and were in Europa action midweek with an easy 3-0 home over Pacos Ferreira. In the league they are unbeaten, but after two wins a 1-1 draw last week at home to Cagliari was a disappointing performance. Added to that star striker Mario Gomez limped off injured, and David Pizzaro was sent off late on, so misses out here suspended. Cuadrado of midfield and Striker Iakovenko are already out injured, so Rossi has big responsibility as front man for now.
