In the last sixteen games they have scored one or no goals in all but one of the games, and is a big feature of why they are struggling at the wrong end of the table. Roma (22-7-2) with the best defensive record in the league, will expect to keep the goal shy Cagliari at bay on their way to another win. Five wins on the bounce have all but guaranteed second place, and a win here would close the gap to five points on leaders Juventus. Cagliari do have a good recent record against Roma though, with four wins and a draw in the last seven meetings, though they will be without the suspended defender Rossettini who has been an ever present in the team. Injury rules out midfielders Adryan and Vecino for Cagliari, with Balzaretti(def) and Strootman(mid) out for Roma.
