Genoa (6-5-8) have won only one of their last seven in Serie A, although at home they are unbeaten in the last six played. A sound thrashing away to Roma last week will hopefully give the wake up call, that they need to improve and keep clear of the dreaded drop zone. Inter (8-8-3) have also won just once in seven in the league, and their season is in danger of petering out with an exit from the cup also. On the other side of the coin, three league losses in total proves how difficult to beat they are, and this is at least always a solid base on which to build. Matuzalem(mid) is suspended for Genoa, and Kucka(mid) is a definite miss with injury, and Perin(gk), Portanova and Gamberini are doubts. Icardi(str) is doubtful for Inter.
