Catania (3-7-13) remain rooted to the foot of Serie A, although three draws in a row at least gives them hope of hanging on in there with a chance of survival. Two of those draws were away from home, to get their first away points of the season, though you feel at home they need to start registering wins. They have a good home record against Lazio, winning the last two meetings, and losing only once here to them in seven. Lazio (8-8-7) dug in to get a point in the Rome derby last Sunday, stretching their unbeaten league run to six matches. Winners of their last two away games, having previously not won away in ten, confidence is beginning to show in the team. A fifth place finish is not beyond them looking at the table, so their season is far from over. Frison(gk), Almiron and Leto(mid) are missing for Catania with injury, and Ederson(mid) is out for Lazio.

Odds for the Lazio win look on the short side to me, so the 1X2 betting tip is for the draw at 3.20(11/5)Bet365. Catania are fighting for their Serie A survival, and have battled to three draws in succession in the league. More is needed if they are to stay up, but they probably lack the quality to go on and beat a rejuvenated Lazio side.
