CATANIA V MILAN : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS 1X2

Bottom club Catania (2-3-8) have only nine points so far, although home form (2-3-1) is certainly not the reason for their failings. Normally the visit of AC Milan (3-5-5) would fill them with fear, but there is real cause for optimism for the hosts on this occasion. Milan have not won in their last five in Serie A, and thirteenth spot a full twenty points off the leaders is unheard of usually. A midweek Champions league win at Celtic should lift spirits, but they have no away wins in the league this term, and injuries continue to blight them. Abate, De Sciglio, Mexes and Zaccardo injuries, and Zapata suspended means defensive options are very thin. Muntari(mid) and Robinho(str) are also big misses for Milan. Bellusci(mid) and Bergessio(str) are definite outs for Catania, with Izco and Almiron(mid) both doubts.

Odds on quotes for a Milan win cannot be seriously considered with form and injuries continuing to hinder, and the draw at 3.60(13/5)Bet365 looks the best bet for 1X2. No questioning Catanias limits as bottom spot shows, but home form is very decent with only one defeat in six. It may be asking too much of them to beat Milan, but a draw is a very likely outcome at terrific odds. Milan have yet to win away in the league this term to highlight their current woes.
