Fiorentina has started their Serie A campaign with two wins. The side will surely be a force in the Serie A this season as they’ve brought in some truly good players this transfer window. Sure, they’ve lost Jovetic and starlet Ljajic, but big signing Gomez has scored two in two.  Ilicic who came in from Palermo is also a good offensive player in the Jovetic mould. Cagliari opened with a 2-1 home win over Atalanta, but then lost 3-1 away to AC Milan. In that game they did create chances however and all though Milan was the better side Cagliari wasn’t far behind. There are no new injury or suspension worries for Cagliari either!

Last season Fiorentina won this fixture 4-1. That was a game much similar to the Milan game for Cagliari. They looked lively at times but couldn’t cope with the offense of their opposition.
