Inter is 6-3-2 at home in the Serie A this season. Chievo Verona is 3-0-8 away from home. Inter Milan has only managed one win in the first five games after the winter break, and their last match away to poor Siena ended in a 3-1 loss. Chievo is 2-1-2 after the winter break.

Inter Milan has won the last three home games against Chievo, and the two latest reverse fixtures has ended 2-0 for Internazionale. In other words; they have a good grip on Chievo! 

Chivu (Defender) and Guarin (Midfielder) are suspended for Inter. Milito (Striker) and Cambiasso (Midfielder) could feature. New signing Kovacic is likely to play. Samuel (Defender) is still out. For Chievo defenders Drame and Sardo most likely are out still. Luciano (Midfield) is probably out still as well.

Betting predictions

Inter will be weakened by the loss of Chivu and Guarin, no doubt. The home side is in the middle of a generational shift and is very unstable. The recent run of form has just been poor. I definitely think Chievo has enough firepower to capitalize on Inter’s troubles. I think the Asian Handicap line of Chievo +1 is the way to go about this game.
