Huge game in Italy as Inter host Juventus in the game of the day. Inter are rejuvenated under Mancini and have started well. Overall they have 16 points after 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss so far. Goals have been thin on the ground though with just 8 scored and 6 conceded in 7 games. Home form sees 3 wins and 1loss. They have had a slight blip last two games though with a tame draw at Sampdoria and a capitulation at home losing 4-1 to Fiorentina. That result was tainted though as Inter had a red card in the 1st half hour. Felipe Melo is a doubt for the home side but Jovetic has been given the all clear. Juventus still inhabit the bottom half of the table after a poor start to the season. Just the 8 points so far after 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. Away form reads 1 win and 2 losses. Mandzukic and Leichsteiner will play no part while Pogba and Morata are not rated as fully fit but both may take some part in this one.
A few player doubts for Juventus and some real form doubts in Serie A at least. Just 2 wins in 8 is a terrible return for a Juventus side who don’t normally drop so many points in an entire season. Inter under Mancini are heading in the right direction and with a small start are fancied.
