TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Napoli surrended their 100% record at Catania at the weekend after a damp squib of a performance. Too many players had an off day and the side where generally poor. Playing against 10 men for 90 minutes after a riduculous Catania red card in the opening minuted seemed to unsettle Napoli. They look to get back on track at The San Paolo but face a tough task against Lazio. Andreas Dossena and Allessandro Gamberini could make a start after Walter Mazzarri makes a few changes to freshen up the team.
Lazio too had a blip with a defeat with a similar lifeless performance to Genoa. I think the midweek away tie in London took a lot out of them as an almost first choice eleven battled for 90 minutes for a 0-0 against Tottenham. The carry on effect was obvious as the previously fresh and lively attack laboured throughout the game. Coach Petkovic tried a few changes to recharge the side but it never worked and the team was a poor imitation of the Lazio who opened the season with three wins. Christian Brocchi, Abdoulay Konko and Stefan Radu and Abdoulay Konko are missing and will not travel.

Roared on by a partisan crowd who do not allow anything but maximum effort Napoli are good for the win and may be able to take it with goals to spare.
